To assist with navigation of the encyclopedia, a taxonomy has been developed to classify the specific craft techniques found in the Asia Pacific region.
There are two dimensions to this taxonomy:
- Craft media, representing the materials used
- Craft techniques, representing the skills used in processing those materials
